The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about each other.

I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about.

Ask away. Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you

We'll go with two, if I may.

First is simple, and might have been something I could have answered by looking at your profile again... but how old are you?

Hm. And I just decided not to ask the second here in this moment. *laughs*

That's actually within the range I'd expected. My age. *chuckles*

I'm either 29 or 32, depending on who is marking the start date.

Toss the question back at you, too. What would you have thought my age to be?

about my age, maybe a bit younger....26-28...mainly because -forgive the honesty - i checked out your web page and some of the writing seemed very affected, like you were putting on someone else's voice instead of writing with your own. in my experience that is usually something younger rather than older writers do.

Don't ever ask me to forgive honesty. If there's ever a lack of it, you can ask - but I don't bludgeon or wince at or get irritated with people for being honest with me.

*laughs merrily* Yeesh. I need to take that thing down and rebuild it. Sort of a compliment and an insult at the same time, amusingly enough. Most of the work on those pages was done somewhere between 19 and 21. ish. Some bits and snippets added, but not much. If you checked all the links attached (Chronos and Kikat) - some of them are not mine and are not in my voice, though I doubt that's what you are referencing.

At the time I still wore sort of a nictating face as needed per scenario, group, etc... - survival trait that is not uncommon when you had/have as many trust issues as I do/did. I deal with things a bit differently now.

i think we all go through that. i used to affect an immense amount of bravado. now i still have it, but i have shed what is not natural to me and when i use the rest it is a joke rather than a mask. i don't like that kind of pretending very much. it is too much work. only pain can make it worth it.

*nods* I think it is natural to one extent or another, but it is an evolutionary stage to get out of, as far as self-understanding.

I turned the facility for masks into the facility into creating characters when gming. I still have masks, but i don't use them anymore, and the one that used to bother me the most I'm not even sure if I still have.

Pain. *twitches* Yeah. I hear that.
