Podcast Review: Seventh Son
May. 25th, 2007 10:02 amSome of you out there don't listen to podcasts, but do read science fiction and fantasy. If there is any ONE podcast that you should check out to see if it is worth your time it is the Seventh Son podcast by J.C. Hutchins.
This podcast is basically three science fiction books in audio format. It is well written, exciting and thought provoking enough to keep a pretty picky reader (myself) interested and enthusiastic. The premise is that 7 clones were created without their knowledge and their paths diverged from their common background. This was a secret government project. None of the clones knew about each other until the original version went violently out of control. The clones are gathered to try to stop him.
J.C Hutchin's writing is full of engaging plot twists and turns. He gives you enough character development to make you care about his characters, but the story never lags or gets dull. The first two books are out and the third will be released 7-7-07. I can't wait!
