2eclipseyesterday was a very stupid day at work.
all the 3M-er's (non contract workers) spent the whole morning in meetings and then went to tartan park too goof off all afternoon while the contractors held down the fort. meanwhile i had a vendor throwing a hissy-fit because her company made mistakes invoicing us and she thought threatening us with collections was a good response to this. i mostly couldn't get things accomplished without the other people there.
i came home and napped. a lot. hence i'm wide awake at 7am.
today should be better. only it's snowing. APRIL 26th AND IT"S SNOWING.
i'm so done with this. i'm going to get my comfy jeans and a baggy sweater, drink some tea and head over to the cat show. we are in the market for a new kitten and i need to find a breeder to work with.
then off to susan's 30th birthday party.

Date: 2008-04-26 05:33 pm (UTC)yeah, i get frustrated with people who say they have maine coons...when they aren't pure bred, because there's really no way of knowing...it's about shelters trying to get people to buy...but it's false advertising. what you have is a domestic long hair and there's no way of knowing. you may have a great cat, but it's not a maine coon....and you wind up giving the wrong impression of what a maine coon is to all the people that don't know any better.
not that maine coons can't have personality issues...but it's the exception rather than the rule.
incidentally, i found some great breeders this morning with really friendly cats.
