I had a GREAT TIME last night!
really all of yesterday was good.
I had a meeting with my adviser - i wonder if he knows that i go around campus talking about his great big grey sexy brain? I wonder if he would be phased by it?

Anyway there is good news and bad news.
the good news is that i have to go to the registrar's office and declare my emphasis, but that emphasis will be done at the end of next semester as will all of my core requirements for my MTS. AND that sandra wheeler (hard-ass bio-ethics teacher who will kick my academic ass and make me scream for more) is changing the timing of her class on ethics and personal relationships so that it doesn't conflict with another class that i am taking.

the bad news is that i will not have enough credit hours to be completely done at that time.
and i was thinking that this might keep me in classes longer than i want to be. i could potentially move to minneapolis this spring and write my MTS paper long-distance if i didn't have any more classes to take.
However my friend Jerad (different guy, not Kevin) is from Minneapolis and took a class up there last summer at Union Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities....so i'm going to look into that. i don't think i need that many more classes to graduate.
so i need to check things out with the registrar....and sometime between now and january i should probably mention to my parents that i'm engaged.

Additionally, my art class wasn't nearly as bad as i thought it would be. Yoshiko is teaching me sumi painting. but i've gotten very sick of painting nothing but eggplants and the fact that Yoshiko doesn't speak english very well. i have trouble understanding her. but she is very nice and yesterday i got to move on from eggplants to leaves (which are much harder and more interesting because you can make them several different ways).
My systematics clas rocked. we talked about the nature of sin and evil. 'nough said.

game was unusually exciting last night. DC's ventrue had all kinds of family business and i like the dynamics between the characters. I got a lot of stuff to react to that pushed me to move sarnait in ways she doesn't normally explore...and i'm finally feeling like i can DO something with what i have and that is very satisfying.
RP was AMAZING last night. americanbadass was stomping around like he was going to rip someone's head off any minute. I actually flinched a couple of times (nice job). ashoe was clever, and effective and still crazy and dangerous as hell, pheonix930 was officious and helpful, matt pulled everything out of sarnait that she isn't used to, i saw great things all around. Great night guys.
