i was pretty much living in the chanhassen dinner theatre the last couple days during changeover. if i wasn't hanging from the rafters, i was curled up in a quiet, dark corner sleeping. we even ordered pizza so we didn't have to leave the theatre.
in an immaculate bit of timing, i happened to run out to my car just before sunset. it was snowing the gentleist bit and the sun poked it's nose below the clouds for five minutes before it went to bed... but for those five minutes the sky and clouds turned those stunning sunset colours and every snowflake was a bright fluttering star. prettiest gorram thing i've seen in a very long time... i just stood there and reveled. i'm glad it only lasted five minutes... it was really cold and i didn't bring my jacket.
things haven't slowed down for this little peasant since july. i'm looking forward to hibernating for a little while...
gots lots o projects to keep me out of trouble this winter.
i've gotta figure a way to hang out with y'all sometime soon, it's been too long. call if'n you get a chance, i can guarantee i'm not going anywhere for a week... *splat*... it'd be good to chat.
i would very much like that, but things are just STARTING to get busy for me. i've got two master's level classes and a full time job and xmas shopping....and company this weekend for the tremere event. the week after that i will be going with ross to FL for 4-5 days and a badly needed rest. maybe after we get back we can set up a time?
if it weren't for the fact that i haven't recovered from a roadtrip yet, i'd be jealous about florida... actually... yeah... still jealous. *grin* safe journeys and safe home again.
sometimes my timing doesn't suck...
