man am i wiped.
today i picked all the dandelions in our yard and started to make dandelion wine. i realized that i didn't have all the sugar i needed.
so i went biking.
and i biked to the store - all hills. i made lunch for myself(mmmmm...watercress salad) and finished the dandelion wine, which is now fermenting on my stove and will be left to sit for the next two days - a good thing since i need to figure out how to bottle it.
then i prepared scotch broth for dinner.
basically
stew meat
3 turnips
2 leeks
1 onion
3 carrots
2 small potatos - all stuck in a crockpot with water and cooked for 4 hours
1 head one chopped head of cabbage added at the last minute plus thyme, salt and pepper
turnips in anything always taste like scotland and ireland to me. maybe because i've never eaten them in this country except when i've prepared them myself. i love my celtic folklore cookbook.
then i went shopping for ross - he needs clothes
then i went straight to belly dancing.
then i brought in some of the fresh lilacs that are blooming to grace our table and ate some dinner.
now i will clean the cat box and break up boxes for recycling and then i will be able to relax.

Also admire your exercising. I seem to have been sitting here typing papers for weeks.
