yesterday...
i came home and ross had dinner waiting for me.
fresh baked bread, salmon fillets, tortellini, shrimp cocktail and wine.
there was ice cream with strawberries and chocolate buttons for desert.
there were flowers on the table.
nat king cole was on the stereo. he danced with me in the living room.
AND he got me a really nice sweater and an alpaca pillow!
we had a lovely meal and then curled up on the couch and watched ever after and 3-day flight of the condor.

we talked and we snuggled and he liked his gift from me.
it was wonderful in every way.
i am the luckiest girl in the world to have such a romantic husband.
even without all that i have had this weird/cool experience of falling deeper in love with ross

in other news. i really love questionable content. it is amazing how much this guy's artwork has improved.

and just for people who know [livejournal.com profile] famularo and for my own amusement.
leman (spelling is wrong, i know); n paramour (q.v.)lover; inamorata (or for that matter imorato) - but the female sense, of mistress, has for some reason become the more common in recent times). may be pronounced lemon, leeman, or even according to one of the author's sources, layman. the first and third of these options offer obvious opportunities.....

I love it. What a sweetie Ross is!I agree-I am living proof that it is possible to fall more and more in love with someone who is not especially romantically imaginative....but romance is so good! Good for you, too.
P.S. You are a sweetie, too.

I made some (mostly) homemade lasagna for us and we sat and watched "The Princess Bride." I was initially going to take her out for sushi but we decided to just stay in and avoid the masses who would all be going out to eat.

I have just read all 500+ strips of questionable content. I now have that crappy feeling you get after reading all of the archives of a webcomic and realizing that you now have to wait for more strips one day at a time. If the art keeps improving at the present rate the comic will be a holographic projection from my monitor within a year.

it's compellingly told though, isn't it?
and at least it's a comment that updates almost everyday, not like some that are only a couple times a week.
