actually these aren't TRUE before and afters. i put up all the insulation in the ceiling here in the morning.. and none of this shows how much STUFF we moved on saturday.
for those who didn't recognize it, this is actually the same view as the first picture,but back a bit.
not really that hard. just REALLY HEAVY and exhausting. i'd recommend at least 3 people. you can pretty much use an exact knife and one of those metal L-shaped rulers for cutting the dry-wall, but if you are messing with ceilings at all, i would recommend a 3rd leg/lazy man - basically two pieces of wood nailed into a T shape that you can use to brace one end of the dry-wall against the ceiling. also you will need a router/dremel to cut around outlets and such. hanging the drywall itself is easy. the mudding and taping is the hard part (requires some knowledge and finess).
