blizzard!!

2eclipseit is snowing like gangbusters out! it is very beautiful and white.
the xmas gathering across the city was cancelled due to the weather. we will see my in-laws after i get back.
i'm just as happy to have the extra time with ross and getting xmas cards done and such. nice to relax a bit and enjoy my first day of vacation.
i got a couple extra hours of sleep. had a leisurely shower.
ross and i went out to ihop for breakfast this morning and it was packed. makes me feel good to see a place that full when we are technically in recession.
it says something to me that this blizzard does not alarm me in any way. i don't expect any particular difficulty. i can still run my errands. but i am glad i went to the grocery store yesterday. i will make a big pot of soup. all will be well.
