i had a fabulous day.

2eclipseross woke me when he got home last night. which on one hand meant i didn't sleep as much as i might have, but on the other, meant i got to spend time with my much-missed man. overall, i would say it was VERY good. i am completely crazy about him.
this morning i got up a little before nine. got to have breakfast with the husband before he went to work, and then went hiking with heather keiweg. that was excellent in all kinds of ways. we went out to the st. croix nature preserve and she identified all kinds of prairie plants for me and it was almost like being inside a documentary. i love learning from her.
and i got some exercise and a sunburn.
came home and had lunch before going off to the baby shower for simona. it was nice. good to see everyone. also got some 100% organic tung oil for finishing my spinning wheel before going over to the party at jory's sister's house (again for the baby) and got to hang out with a bunch of people talking about gaming and telling jokes. i wound up taking my car back to my place, biking back over (only about 5 blocks) and drinking too much whiskey...but it was a BEAUTIFUL day, and lots of friends were present and i was so happy to feel like i had a life again. tomorrow i will finish the wheel i think. and that will be very excellent.
