   i don't watch tv except for this show. it's that good. the quiet in space creates so much more impact than unrealistic zooming noises. killer cliffhangers.
2. cirque du soleil:
   beautiful athletic creative circus acts with the only clowns i'm not afraid of.
3. dancing:
   the best excercise ever. i forget it's a workout.
4. george r. r. martin:
   one of my current favorite authors. brilliant politics, well-developed world and characters, he's not afraid to kill of his main character and he likes to cut off people's noses. what more could you ask for?
5. knitting:
   i learned in college while working on plays and am getting back into it. still can't make a damn sweater.
6. music:
   sang before i could talk and haven't stopped since. i love listening and i love participating.
7. poetry:
   i write a little....not very well. but i like to read it. sharon olds, james dickey, e.e. cummings, baudelaire, george herbert, both brownings and sophocles are some of my favorites.
8. reading:
   all the time. i will read the back of pill bottles if there is nothing else.
9. soaping:
   i make soap. my soap color is not quite where i want it to be but the bars smell great and they pamper your skin.
10. theatre:
    i enjoy going. i miss doing.
