back to the grinding

2eclipsethe holiday was lovely.
the in-laws were pleasant, i got to spend time with the susan friday and corrin saturday and we laughed a lot and played cards and watched star trek episodes. then sunday ross and i drove up to st. cloud for an evening of gaming with shawn, adam cerling, jon truit and tim wheatly. driving with ross is always nice. we always talk about things we don't think about talking about other times. he gave me some very good advice on the way back about putting oneself in a box in character and we threw around some neat mage ideas.
this is already proving to be a busy week.
this leaves me with VERY little time with ross. no ross makes me grumpy.
i'm just sayin'.

yesterday after work i went straight to school to meet with peter (member of the group of suck) to work on our project. we accomplished our job (with me doing almost all the work). and i had a little time to watch girl interrupted (which was quite enjoyable) with ross and do yet more schoolwork.
tonight i have class, so i will go home, get some food, change clothes, go over the readings and be in class until 10pm.
tomorrow WAS going to be my night with ross. we were going to try and get ryan to come over for some mage gaming. but my group wants to get together to plan our presentation 2 weekends from now. so that's not going to happen.
thursday i have class again.
friday i am driving out to chicago to see my uncle (who has face cancer) and my grandpa (who is anemic).
also i have a five page paper due tuesday. 5 pages is nothing and won't take long, but it is still one more thing to squeeze in.
