grounding

my brain seems to be acting more normally than it was and i am very grateful.
ross is slowly regaining balance from his hell-month at work. sleep and regular meals help with that...but i notice something. when we talk about issues that effect the core of our relationship, we both come back into balance. he helps me see him wholly, rather than in fragments, and reminds me of all the reasons he's perfect for me; a balance for me. patient where i'm impulsive, practical where i'm outrageous and creative...in so many ways, i wish i were more like him and in so many ways i'm glad to be who i am. and seeing these things makes it easier for me to find my own grounding. i can only guess that he experiences something similar

we finally went and saw hellboy last night. i enjoyed it. it was definitely better than the first one. but i was disappointed after reading all the good reviews it was getting. it wasn't THAT much better than the first one, and the first one was a big disappointment to me. guillermo de toro is a genius. but you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

my clapotis is coming along nicely. i am quite pleased.
