this thing proves i am right brained. not that there was any doubt. weird to think that this is not the majority of how people think, according to the page.

i have to focus on the legs only to get her to change direction and then i have a hard time changing back again.

me too
only what does it say that I was mostly focused
on being annoyed that she was off balance and
tilted to one side?

i can't get her to change direction at all. does that mean i'm extra right brained? or just odd?

i think it just means that i'm stubborn.
i had to work really hard and actually scroll the page down so i could ONLY see her legs to get it to change the first couple times. then i had to think about the front being the back and the back being the front.

I saw it going clockwise also. And I couldn't make it change.

i too am apparently right brained. i had a hell of a time trying to see it spinning the other way. in fact, i had to read the text and catch the spinning out of the corner of my eye to see it spin "normal", and if i looked right at it, it would spin the other way again.

Seems a lot of people you know are right brained like you are. Probably no coincidence.
I see her going clockwise too. No surprise there. But if I switch my focus to look somewhere else and then back to the dancer, sometimes she has switched to counter clockwise for me. No way I can make her change direction though.

Same for me... started off clockwise, and sometimes she's one way, sometimes the other. I did try shifting primarily to use of one eye over the other or moving my head to a different angle, and that seemed to make it shift a little faster sometimes, but not reliably. Anyone know how and why it supposed to work?

i have a theory that it works a)because she is all the same color and the lines defining different parts of her body are only suggested and b)because she is posed in just such a way that the back could conceivably be the front and vice versa, allowing the optical illusion to take place.
