in which my body is frickin' weird

i have craved acid foods/beverages as long as i can remember. as a small child i would eat grapefruit and yell about how sour it was. in junior high school i used to eat lemons raw with salt to make them more sour and in high school i drank 2 pots of black coffee/day(something my stomach will no longer tolerate. i crave salad often, mostly because i want vinegar and/or lemon juice. my mouth waters just thinking about it even if i'm not hungry.
possibly as a result or a cause, my skin is highly acidic and i can only wear really stable metals or the acid in my skin will react and give me a rash. i can't wear any silver at all.

but this is just weird.
because i have been sick, i cut coffee out of my diet for about 2 and a half weeks. i didn't want to be drinking diuretics when i know my body needs fluids to get better.
i started getting massive heart burn no matter what i ate/drank. even mint tea(a digestive aid) gave me heartburn.
this morning i had some coffee. 

all better. 

my biology is so seriously confused.
