my yarn porn addiction and some other stuff

it is almost frightening to me how much time i have spent on ravelry since it opened. it is as though i can't get enough of looking at all the different versions of projects that different people have made all over the world. so cool! i need to take pictures of more of my projects and put them up. not that they are all that impressive, but it is nice to have a record. i have two panta's and two different fingerless gloves that i have still not put up. i just forgot about them. i need to take on some more ambitious projects. i feel like such a slacker when faced with all the beautiful things other people have made. i also need to make some soap. maybe today. we are running out.

yesterday i biked another 10 miles and got sunburnt. it got up to 98 degrees here! then i hung out with corrin and her family and watched ratatouille and got some burgers with her little nephews and niece and "the mumka" as she calls her mother. it was fun. i was still awake when ross came home (a wonder) and we got some nice time together before i conked out.

tomorrow i start my new job.
i am nervous.
