books always make the sad girl happier.
and i got a bunch this week.
mostly because about a week and a half ago, ross asked me to get a book for him.
i found it on amazon in hardback for half the usual price...and then i found fragile things by neil gaiman for about $12. and then i was so excited that i got a couple more books off my wish list that i've been wanting forever for about $5 each. a thread of grace by mary doria russell (which i haven't read yet) and enchantment by orson scott card (which i've already read, but didn't have in hardback).
and then barnes and noble sent me a coupon. with my membership discount it meant i could get 35% off a book. and i discovered that c.s. friedman has a new fantasy novel out - feast of souls.
so all and all i have 4 (out of 5 total) books in time for the snowy weekend ahead.
yum.
