many of you probably know about The Anticraft as being a site with spooky art projects for all levels of craftiness. but have any of you checked out their blog? there are links to all sorts of good stuff!
in particular i think Steal This Sweater is cool. all sorts of protest-related knitting ideas, some of which you can download, including a design for mittens that show the number of casualties killed in iraq in the time it took to knit the mittens. the chic who runs the website also writes a downloadable magazine called saddlesore about biking instead of using a car. i wish i could do that, but weather and distance to some of the things i do regularly make it impossible....still, i will do what i can now that i actually have my tires pumped up.
