fundamentalism being allowed to represent christianity is a big problem. and unfortunately the liberal media is almost worse about it than the conservative. because they have not checked out their own bias. i find myself constantly furious with minnesota public radio, which has a much stronger liberal bias than that of NPR stations on the east coast - and i consider myself a liberal!
i don't know who jonathan sharkey is, but i think it is sad that you don't talk about your faith. yes it is "impolite" to talk about religion and politics at parties, but i guess i think that the less offensive voices need to get heard and stand up for what the believe in order to combat the tendancy to lump everyone into one group. you can never be a "shawn isenhart" convincing "megan" not all christians/pagans are lame unless you allow yourself to represent your faith.
