i'm so awed that my post provoked such nuanced thinking in you. you seem to have very clear thinking about this issue. i am grateful that you have spent the time on it.
i completely agree with you that there are members of all religions that give the others a bad name. and that there are problems with my own faith. i would love to get together with you in person and talk about them sometime. and i love your point about the starving children. one of my soapbox issues is that there are so many "pro-life" people who are for capital punishment.
