pants?

so when becca and michelle were here the other day, i decided i had no need to be especially fancy and pulled on my cargo pants. these pants are my favorite pants. they are men's cargos from old navy about two years ago. all of their pockets have zippers except the top front ones, which have snaps. i have never found any others like them.
i had already gone up stairs and thoroughly mooned poor becca and michelle before i realized i had a HUGE hole in the butt of my pants on the right side.
sigh.
these were my favorite pants, but now it is time for them to go. and i am desperate for replacements. all the cargo pants i find have only the two big pouchy-pockets in front with or without zip-off bottoms. OR they have all their pockets inside. not what i want. does anyone know where i can find cargo pants with a decent number of external pockets, preferably non-standard pockets?

Forgive me because I literally don't know these things... nor am I the type to size anyone [or you] up. What size men's waist are you looking for? I have a feeling mine would be all too big but I have about a half dozen pair that I'm going to convert into shorts for the summer... not OVERLY cargo-y maybe... I'd have to look at them again.

i would love to see you tomorrow. also i am going to game tomorrow night! i would be happy to take you with me, but we should either come up with a character concept for you or arrange for you to be my ghoul. i don't know this game or what to expect from it yet.

that is really not enough sleep.
i both had a wonderful time in dc and missed my obnoxious pestiferous kitties who have been nothing but demanding since i came home.

killer cramps today, so I'm not much help in cheering you up. Nor in finding cargo pants with lots of pockets, though they sound delightful. I COULD possibly fix the hole, though, if you wanted me to try!

yes. i am available tomorrow afternoon. anytime.
i have a therapist appt. at 11am. so figure an hour plus whatever time it takes me to drive home from the city.
thank you for the offer on the pants, but i also stained them with wood stain last summer. they really are done.
