um...

so the concert last night didn't happen...or rather it did, but we weren't there.
we both had a lot of tension that picked a bad moment to demand release and wound up arguing in the car for an hour, sorting things out, making up and feeling too damn exhausted to face a bunch of people and loud music.
so we went home, i got some groceries, we listened to irish music, ate soda bread, called friends, talked about life and went to bed.
does this mean we are old?
today we were supposed to go volunteer with the church. but no one has answered my phone calls about when/where things are happening and there is nothing on the website indicating that anything is happening at all, so we are going out to visit ross's folks, have dinner with them and go out to a firing range. they are excited to see us.

Deciding you're too tired to deal with Paddy's Kids is a sign of wisdom and taste.

Soda bread is a sign that you need to go to the grocery store to buy some real food.

we miss you! betcha can't guess who this is. i'll let you have the fun of figuring it out...not that the name of my cat won't give it away. heck, just saying that probably just gave it away. :)

i broke down and got a LJ so that we could keep up with adam...since he apparently announces things like his marriage only on LJ...sigh. B will be so disappointed in me for giving in to the peer pressure...but he will forgive me, i'm sure.
