Well last Wednesday was my last day at my summer internship with the InterFaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington. I'm glad it's over because I didn't learn as much as I wanted to and my work was mostly boring, but I did get some fun opportunities and meet some neat people. I never felt like being there was a waste of my time....well..maybe that's only mostly true.
So now I have a ton of stuff on my plate. I have to study for and take the GRE's and I'm hopeless with math. I have to finish my applications to AU's Peace and Conflict resolution program. I have to read Cry The Beloved Country by Alan Paton for my upcoming trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe. Lord knows I won't have time to read it during the school year. Which starts, by the way, on August 30th. I can expect to have exactly NO free time after that.
Which might lead one to wonder why on earth am I starting a live journal. I suppose your guess is as good as mine. But I think the blame can be squarely laid at the feet of a certain crocodile.
