Nov. 10th, 2005 09:38 amis it bad to be brilliantly happy when something good happens to someone else, but they are miserable about it?
this week is flying by. i am pleased about it. i just wish i was getting more done. more fun stuff anyway.:)
but fun stuff requires money and we don't have much of that until i get paid...which isn't for another 2 weeks. i am on a real pay-role now and that means waiting like everyone else.
ross installed the photogallery program on our website yesterday, so as soon as i have some albums uploaded, i will post the website and you can set up an account if you want to view the pictures.
you are not selling your soul to do this...we just have some pictures that are more private (no there are NO naked pictures of anyone!) and we want to assign permissions accordingly. my niece, for example, will not be getting permission to view pictures of me drunk. stuff like that.
also on the to-do list, i need to plant my last minute bulbs, clean the cat box, get my transcripts sent from luther seminary to wesley, and make arrangements to work at their library.
also we will be having company.
a girlfriend of ross's (and getting to be mine, too) had a rough break-up and will be staying with us for a few days.
i have mixed feelings about this.
on one hand there will be a DAWG!!
there is not enough dog in my life. and guinness(the dog's name) is very sweet and docile - ie. not likely to destroy our house.
one the other hand, luther is likely to have a nervous break-down if there is a dog running loose. so we have decided that there will be a baby-gate on the stairs somewhere to keep the dog from getting ambitious and the cats from loosing their minds. who am i kidding. madeleine will be fine and will probably torment the poor thing. luther is the one i'm concerned about. but he has had a dog around before. as long as he can get away things shouldn't get too bad.
there is a song out on the radio by a scottish chic - kate tungsten?
anyone else nuts over it?
