Resolutions
aerobic exercize. i've been really good this year with the sit-ups, but my body needs something more hardcore regularly. also get a real job.

Did anyone close to you give birth?
omg yes.
everyone is breeding. notably jory and simona had devon gabriel, and shaun and thistle had phoenix sage at least  four others are incubating.

Did anyone close to you die?
no, thankfully.

What countries did you visit?
Stayed in the US this year.

What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
a real job. one with benefits, so that i don't have to get them through ross.

What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
xmas was especially great this year...but getting my tonsils out is probably most indelibly scarred into my brain.

What was your biggest achievement of the year?
knitting more than half of the xmas gifts for the immediate family. yikes.

What was your biggest failure?
Nothing comes to mind...2008 was a year of successes, more than not.

 Did you suffer illness or injury?
short predictable illness...injury that was planned if you include surgery

What was the best thing you bought?
the kittens. so cool.

Whose behavior merited celebration?
ross's. my folks. illusionstar .

Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
sarah palin, john mccain, george w. bush and anyone working at guantamo.

Where did most of your money go?
outside of normal living expenses, we paid off a lot of debt this year. specifically to credit cards and my student loans, but a good amount went to medical bills and car repairs as well. i traveled a lot for graduation, mom's ordination, xmas. i feel pretty good about this.

What did you get really, really, really excited about?
xmas. new kittens, being able to breathe at night. graduating.

What song will always remind you of 2008?
this year was remarkable for it's lack of intruducing me to new good music.

Happier.

About the same.

Richer...in that we have less debt.

snuggling ross, excercising

depressing myself, procrastinating

mostly i re-read books this year. as for new stuff? either a circle of quiet by madeleine l'engle or sunshine by robin mckinley

What was your greatest musical discovery?
like i said. not much in the way of good new music this year.

What did you want and get?
kittens, awesome clear converse, a master's degree

What did you want and not get?
a job, a tattoo.

What was your favorite film of this year?
dark knight. doubt was a better movie. dark knight was more fun.

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 31. i had a wonderful dinner with ross and friends after having the tepanaki place be incredibly rude. i did not get a tattoo.

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
again with the job thing.

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
casual

What kept you sane?
knitting, ross & my therapist(it is his job after all).
