1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? i prefer wrapping, but sometimes gifts are shaped oddly.

2. Real tree or Artificial? i have mixed feelings. i don't like how real trees shed and i feel guilty killing one every year, but i do like their environmental friendliness and how they smell. we have an artificial one that i like because we can rely on it and don't have to buy one more thing every year.

3. When do you put up the tree? never before thanksgiving, usually in the first couple of weeks of december.

4. When do you take the tree down? ideally in january...but sometimes it takes a bit longer.

5. Do you like eggnog? Yes, but in small amounts.

6. Favourite gifts received as a child? castle greyskull!~!!! and a bright orange scooter....and a big stuffed bear

7. Hardest person to buy for? My dad. he doesn't want anything.

8. Easiest person to buy for? Mom. i know her very well. or maybe illusionstar

9. Do you have a nativity scene? several...one was made by my grandma. another a gift from my brother...i think i broke the one i got in south africa.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? mail.

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? a casper's xmas video when i was a teenager.

12. Favourite Christmas Movie? Ooh.. tough call. nightmare before xmas.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? july. but i make gifts and some of them take a while.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? i've never put one out for the recycling person to pick up...but i'm pretty sure i have re-gifted.

15. Favourite thing to eat at Christmas? coffee cake and mimosas.

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? travel...staying home would be nice, but not as nice as seeing family.

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? i like both, but whatever it is has to be done well...i'm sentimentally attached to the angel my grandmother made.

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Morning, after my first cup of coffee.

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? trashing xmas songs that don't even try to be as good as the traditional stuff.

24. Favourite for Christmas dinner? not picky. i like ham, i like turkey...i'd probably like chicken pot pie. i want everyone to eat together. but i do like some sort of soup on xmas eve.

25. What do you want for Christmas this year? too many things. love and affection...clear converse...sock club membership....blocking wires....a ravelry hoodie....world peace...
