Sometimes I think as Christians we shouldn't be strong advocates for national security, rather we're advocates for bringing about God's kingdom in the world today and that kingdom is larger than a nation. If we're focusing too much on national security than we aren't really going about God's business in the world, so it would probably be last on my list as well. I really was annoyed by McCain's slogan "Country First" because it seemed so blasphemous to me.
