Ooohhh sweet, I have the Irish Hiking Scarf pattern (and about a foot and a half's worth of an actual scarf knitted before the needle snapped, lol i have bad luck with needles)! I love it, it's so simple and beautiful.
i'm nervous about trying DPN's, because they seem.. ah, i dunno, troublesome... but I thought the same thing about knitting in general, and then cables, and I do those okay.. hm. also I don't have anyone in my life who is readily available that can show me how to use them, so I have to bumble through it with www.knittinghelp.com, which has been my savior in a lot of situations, lol. that hat makes me want to try though!!
