how can i express the awesome...?

we saw my husband's grandma yesterday. i had found out she used to knit and told her i was knitting a lot lately the last time we saw them. so this time she had goodies waiting....




the best part is that seven of these are THICK books with lots of patterns in them! and many of the patterns are actually things i will make and wear instead of putting off as old-fashioned and out-dated. WOOT!
my husband informed his grandma that he had just lost me for the next month. teehee.

I am still out here. Things have just gotten complicated lately. I've got an appt with a GP for the end of Jan (earliest we could find) - hopefully can start getting at least some things sorted then.
And the botched Urgent Care visit at least told us my EKG was clean and my blood ox is still way up (99%) - which means there's a chance the brucelleosis (never can spell that) might be back - but at least it means I have an idea of what might be going wrong.
*shrugs and crosses her fingers*

If I drop off the radar from time to time, don't worry horribly much (although it is appreciated)- there's a list of people on my hard drive who are to be contacted if something really awful happens. (By partner or housemate or...) So, unless our house burns down with us in it or something, you'd know if it was really bad.
