out of all the books i have read, i have to say the only one that i truly despised was "mario" by jorge rojas. a la wuthering heights but in spanish. and it drove me up a wall. boring drivel.
on the other hand, i have to say i'm not a fan of salinger's work but i can't say i despite catcher in the rye for the sheer fact that it was the first time i had ever seen the word "f*ck" in print.
