ross was gone to vegas on business so i spent a lot of time with the corrin this weekend. she is becoming a very good friend. we went to game and i didn't have a great time (mostly due to my character not being very involved in the city yet, and the players i had something to do with being absent), but she said she enjoyed it. i crashed the night at her place and we went out to breakfast and an estate sale in the morning.
her ex-boyfriend just moved out and she needed art for her house. she got some really neat stuff and we had a nice time.
then i went home for a few hours, attended the kitty and went to a party (again with corrin) in the evening. met some interesting people there. it was a nice relaxing weekend.
last night i picked ross up at the airport. it sounds like the trip went really well for the company even though ross didn't get much sleep - which wound up having the effect that i had to get up at 6:30am to take a speaker processor down to bloomington for him so that he could sleep in this morning. he is a love. i am very lucky to have such a husband.
he will be going to chicago this thurs. and fri. (again on business) and we will be driving up to st. cloud for the weekend in order to help jon and tessa move and visit with them and shawn and thistle and cedar rain - which is always good. jon has officially put me in charge of playing with the baby, caulking the bathtub and planning one meal...which means planning two meals because ross will not have time to plan the meal assigned to him. there will be immense amounts of gaming when we are not cooking or working our hineys off. should be a good time.
