Dec. 7th, 2005 01:35 pmtoday started out badly but my mood has gotten better as the day has progressed.
it is SERIOUSLY cold up here. we're talkin' single digits. it is unseasonabley cold for this time of year, even in minnesota. if we get lucky we will get up to 30 degrees on friday.
i met with gail, the youth director at my church yesterday and we went out for coffee. she is a fellow transplanted east-coaster (from delaware), and agrees with me about the intolerable general frigidity we are experiencing. anyway she seems really nice. open, talented, intelligent. if she is all she seems i hope we will be friends.
last night i had a serious dehydration issue. margharitas at dinner followed by too long in the hot-tub/shower had me threatening to throw-up/black-out. it was enough to send me stumbling dripping-wet through the house to get water, which took care of the immediate problem, but i'm still feeling it today.
getting up was painful this morning and my sit-ups/push-ups were even more painful, but i'm beginning to feel the tightening in my stomach that promises me i'm getting somewhere with this forced excercise thing.
i will not be a slug dammit!
jory has started working with me and i am pleased because now i will have an excuse to hang out with him AND someone to get sushi with me! *dances*
