i think it just marks you as a relatively well-adjusted person with sense enough to hang out with people who are less adjusted than yourself (like kfringe for example:).
maladjusted people are more interesting than well adjusted people. at least if they are truthful.

What's interesting is that several of those answers have changed dramatically from what they would have been - I think largely due to the Marine Corps.

Yes, actually I do. I tend to be fairly optimistic and confident, and while I'm still somewhat introverted by nature, I'm a lot more comfortable with being very out going when the situation calls.
