The best thing to do is probably make a LJ entry explaining what you'd like to do, and asking interested parties to comment so you can add them to the proper filter. It's a little more respectful that my method, where I just make filters for subjects and assume that I'm putting the right people on them. =P
oooooooh *light bulb goes on* that makes total sense now. i think however, that in this case i am going to allow people the option of changing their minds, since overwhelmingly people are prefering the cuts.
