i think the person who created it has some preconceived notions about the animals they picked. most eastern cultures think snakes are very noble creatures. i was born in the year of the snake and for the chinese, the snake symbolizes wisdom, saaviness and subtle sex appeal....at least that's what my menus keep telling me.:)
