2eclipsetoday i had my first taste of asian pear.
so big and round. crisp and juicy and sweet and surprisingly tart.
i hope that i never become too old or to afraid to try new things.
in other good news, i got called for a second interview at the food shelf. i am now one of 4 instead of one of 7. it was very hard for them to narrow it to 4. the interview is thursday. i anguished for hours after the first interview about "ifs," wondering if i should have answered questions differently. i want this job badly. it is a chance to start my career and answer my calling.
