just watched the season finale of BSG.
wow.
so good
i <3 hendrix in space.
big fan. i want a copy (but not with dialogue, thanks amanda).  wasn't helen declared a cylon in the first few episodes where baltar's cylon detector found sharon?
anyway. i liked last season's season finale better, but this one was truly amazing. ross still likes the star trek "i am locutus of borg" season finale better, but last season of BSG has my vote.


in other news, i have completed my rewrite of my intro on the paper, have applied for about 10 new jobs in the last 24 hours and ross is teaching me to rollerblade. i went out over the weekend with him and DIDN'T HIT ONE PARKED CAR!!! or fall down. but not hitting cars is the big surprise.:)
i called the place i interviewed a couple weeks ago and found out that they haven't just written me off. they had to reschedule 2 of their interviews and the last one is today. according to the HR lady, it is between me and the guy interviewing today....and the question is seeming to hinge on who has more theology? anyway, cross your fingers for me.

Yes, the season finale blew my tiny little mind. Woah.

Helen first reappeared in "Tigh me up, Tigh me down", the same episode where Baltar created his cylon detector. They did run her sample, and Baltar told everyone that she was NOT a cylon. Then HeadSix asked him what the real result was, and he smirked and said he would never tell. (I recently rewatched the first season, so this is all fresh in the brain!) I don't personally think that Helen is a cylon... but who knows what might be revealed?
Anyway, I thought it was an amazing episode. Some of the eps this season were a little slow, but WOW they packed a LOT into these last 45 minutes!!!

yes, all that is true. but then wasn't there also a scene where you SAW the results on the computer-thing he rigged up and they were the same as when sharon tested? and he made some sort of exasperated expression about it when no one else was there?

Still, I love BSG. It is such a cool show. I named my kitten Starbuck, even!

i have no idea what the hr or the director meant. wish i did. cuz an emphasis in systematics at wesley means 15 credit hours of systematics and writing a credo, which is more than i've heard any other seminary requiring.
