'atta girl!

2eclipsemuch in the same mindset as sam gage's cookies, one of my old jobs used to give out printed pieces of paper for a job well done that said "atta boy" or "atta girl" on them.
no raise. no bonus. no office party. but here we'll give you this nice piece of paper.
(i missed mine when i saved the company 18k in one month)
in any case, i am hereby giving myself a cookie/atta girl.
i have gotten a hell of a lot done this weekend so far.
friday i went to class and picked up the books for my summer class as well as a few TBA books for the end of this semester. then i went out with mi madre and did wedding shopping. i got shoes and my headpiece and veil ordered. the damn veil+headpiece is more expensive than my dress, but it's going to look great.
then i went out to dinner with the folks and went home and studied. yes on a friday night.
yesterday i began revising my credo, got reading/prep work done and packed all the books in my room + part of the bathroom.
that doesn't sound like a lot, but i had 5 bookcases full of books in my room. which means i have 18 boxes of books packed. i have also begun work on the shelves in my old room.

additionally, i started dieting again this week. i lost a lot of weight last summer/fall and didn't accept the idea of any of it coming back.
and i am entirely pleased with myself because i have already lost the lbs. again.
still my clothes are not fitting the way i want them to, so i think i may have lost muscle this winter (not surprising given my DISTINCT lack of excercise and the fact that i was eating out a lot). i will continue this until my eating habits are back where i want them to be. it's not like i'm actually depriving myself of anything anyway, i'm just eating less of it.
my new favorite sandwich is hummus with alfafa sprouts and tomato on toast.
