luther situation: took luther to the vet yesterday. his anemia was a little better and he had actually gained 1/10th of a lb. the vet was less worried, therefore i am less worried. we find out the big stuff today.
i mixed his old food (that he loved) with the dry stuff he doesn't like and he went to town on it. yeah for luther chowing down on normal food~!
planetjake's brother: is still in the hospital although no longer requiring one-on-one care. this is good. i went over and saw jake last night (forgetting the knitting stuff i got for his mom AND that we had made other dinner plans and having guests arrive at our house about 1/2 hour after i got to jake's - D'OH!). he was full of stories and laughing, but i'm still glad i went over.
terrible awful itchiness: is gone. i went to the doctor yesterday and got put on steroids and aminox. this seems to have killed the problem. i am SOOOO grateful for that doctor even though he made me wait in his office for 45 minutes.
i also got crazy amounts of necessities taken care of yesterday. went to the bank and deposited a much-needed deposit. went to the bead store and got eyes for my ipod monsters, michael's and got 2-dollar candles and tea-lights and velcro and stuff for jake's mom. went grocery shopping and picked up my perscriptions and took luther to the vet.
i also got some salad at a bakery near the bead store that was up there with the best salads i've ever had. i'm going to try to duplicate the dressing so i can make it. when i succeed (not if, i'm being positive, here), it will be posted on
geekcooks.
i also got 7 hours of sleep last night. a VAST improvement on the night before, but i am still draggin' this am. there WILL be a nap this afternoon.

Date: 2006-12-12 07:20 pm (UTC)Good for no itching and a good night's sleep. Any clue about what caused the reaction? Were you around a lot of dust of any kind? If that is the problem my house is a mine field. :).
I am thinking of doing that sooon...get a good night's sleep. One more exam and that is it for the semester. Yay!!
