2eclipsewent to the state fair yesterday with jerad and rachel and their friend, smokey.
smokey likes EVERYTHING.
it's a bit like being with an ADD kid in a candy store - ooo look at this! that's awesome! what's next! what's that! COOL!
on one hand i am snarky/cynical enough to be amused by this. on the other, it is in some ways genuinely pleasant to be around someone so honestly positive. i have to say i enjoyed the fair. i think we will be getting together with jerad and rachel again after their race next weekend.
today we have church outside and casual! this is a fun idea to me. we'll see how it actually pans out. choir should be starting up this week again and i am planning on going.
today is overcast and cool and hopefully will not rain because i have outdoor chores that need to happen. my TO DO list is about 20 items long atm. i plan on work and a good beer.
god knows i have no energy for it during the week.
