wow! it looks SO much better! I love the way the fireplace looks. It helps to have an imaginative husband who knows how to do everything like that...and who knows what can be done. The tile looks wonderful. The floor in the basement....incredible difference. You guys have been working so hard. I like the furniture arrangement as I can see and imagine it. I think I need a diagram. :) We are back here after a long trip back because of flight delays. Dad's color and voice strength continued to improve while we were there. He is so weak but he has plans to begin his exercise routine by pacing the house from back door to front door and increasing both pace and repetitions. Next is to walk the basement stairs up and down. I suggested that an exercise bike would be safer but he said it is too boring. His goal...to get strong enough to renew his driver's license so he can drive himself around town and up to Wisconsin this summer. Carole doubts that it is possible but I am betting on him.
