unfortunately, this picture is a little blurry...and i couldn't get the light quite right...so the orange looks a little pinkier than it is - really it's kind of a burn orange color...much more like the other picture on my ravelry project, or the stash color for this yarn. the sock also comes up well past my ankle...and i'm not sure you get a good idea of that in this pic. i like toe-up socks too. i think it would be very easy to adapt this pattern for toe uppedness. you wouldn't get the ridge over the toes, but that's no big deal. you might have to modify the top of the cuff a bit too..but i think it's do-able.
