controlled chaos.
Dec. 13th, 2007 08:23 amwe could get more snow today, but at least it will be warmer - around 30 degrees today. it has been a really unseasonably cold november/december. tomorrow we will be lucky if it reaches 10 above.
so my computer at home is down.
i mean, really down.
it's been acting up for the last couple of weeks, mostly re: internet access and access to our home server. it's damned inconvenient. then this morning it booted up and shut right back down again.
i'm pretty sure it got hacked. last week there were tabs popping up on my internet browser that got initiated while i was at work.
at times like this i am immensely grateful to have a husband who knows his way around reformatting. i'm pretty good with hardware, but i'm at a loss with software.
the good news is that i managed to get two papers written last night and sent to my e-mail. one of them i turned in via e-mail and the other i will print out today before i leave work to be turned in tonight. one paper left. it is the biggest one, but 10 pages isn't all that big and i have until friday to get it turned in. that won't be so bad.
i am much more concerned about getting all my xmas packages mailed out on time.
i have been invited to a knitting group tomorrow night and i'm thinking of going. ross will be working on concerts friday and saturday and so i am left to my own devices. i'm sure i'll spend some of that time on my last paper and xmas shopping, but i could use some relaxation too.
