i'm not sure at all that it is to no avail. i've found several communities in my life that embody the concept of martin luther king jr.'s beloved community. my church camp growing up, my church in ardmore pa, my seminary...and i have a strong suspician that foundry umc in dc is another one. i think you give up too easily and maybe that you don't want one badly enough to keep looking.
