it's not as bad for dogs as it is for cats (although it's not good, either). cats are purely carnivores biologically. dogs at least are omnivores like we are. according to the stuff i'm reading, cats should have a diet that is 70% meat. i found the nearest whole foods and am going there this afternoon.
