movie and dream

2eclipsethe prestige was amazing. really a fine movie. i didn't like either of the main characters, but it really didn't seem to matter. not as good as the illusionist, but ross and i both enjoyed it.
i dreamed that this older tour-guide/headhunter guy picked this other girl and me up at our houses and drove us to canada to work with this attractive russian woman who everyone saw as asexual. she had dark hair and her name was anna and she was some sort of choreographer or director. she lived in a big building with a large, sunny studio. the other girl i came with reminded me of cinnamon sarver, the girl i worked with at the interfaith conference 3 summers ago. we were told to come in through a particular entrance each day and change our clothing. we met all kinds of interesting people who anna was working with, including a super-gay guy who sang and danced beautifully and was really sweet to us. then one day the water was out in the building and we got a holiday. it was st. martin's day. the fellow who drove us there took us around like it was a tour. there was a huge parade and somewhere in the confusion, the girl with us turned into![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
illusionstar, which was cool, cuz i knew she would have loved this place. all the young women were wearing ribbons or interesting mesh things over their hair or carrying a black or white mesh parasol. i wound up sitting in the branches of this huge tree to watch the festivities but it kept moving me around like it couldn't get comfortable. i saw lots of abandoned apartment buildings and the tour-guide guy said that it was a really depressed area. i wondered if that meant we could find an apartment for cheap. when the parade was over there was some other event people were going to, but libbie and i decided we wanted some of those hat things that were being sold everywhere in the streets. we did a lot of looking....
and then my alarm went off.

on dvd in January. I watch a LJ that does breaks
down the movies in 15 minutes. I love the second
