friday night i sat at home and chilled and forgot i had a party to go to (michelle's birthday salsa style)
but did get to spend some time with my sister who was in town for the weekend.

saturday i slept in
which was much needed.
then i went out with my girl ceci, who i have spent ENTIRELY too little time with this semester.
we went out to old town alexandria looking for bridesmaid gowns,
ate sushi outside in the sunshine and had incredibly good luck with the dresses.
ordered some swatches and came back home.

then i went out for dinner with jared and rachel(friends from seminary) came back and made margharitas.
it was a VERY good evening.

sunday i went to church, had lunch with the parents
packed like a mad dog. most of my fun books are now in boxes and the garage is cleaned out.
i found a mouse nest in my sofa (those things poop more than anyone has any right to)
so i will be ordering a new cushion for the sofa - no big loss. i was probably going to have to do that anyway given that my old roommate's cats consistantly confused my sofa with the litter box.
then i spent the evening at missy and bills house (college friends) along with ceci and joe, my buddy josh and one of missy's co-workers.

i have not laughed that hard in a LONG time.
it was very good for me.
caught up on some of the sunshine i've been missing.
i now feel immensly better equipped to tackle the papers.
