found a couple new jobs this morning and one of them i'm really excited about.
it is for a Sexual Health Peer Education Coordinator working with bi, gay, transgender kids and their friends and helping establish education and resources for HIV/AIDS testing and training peer educators!@!!!!
how perfect is that.
they even pay well!

Do you have the job or are you interviewing for it or...?

And is this one with District 202?

They are the MOST excellent organization for GLBT youth.

i am applying for this job. i got laid off a few months ago and am looking for something meaningful.

I SHOULD be, seeing as I'm very supportive of the GLBT community and being bi myself.

But I have not been, mostly because I am not "out" to everyone (like, my family)and I have my sons to think of (their asshole dad would *Love* to use that against me in Court when it comes to who gets the boys and visitation and such).

No...unfortunately, I have to be careful. *Sigh*

But District 202 is the BOMB!

gah. me too. thank you.
i'm out to my mom but not my dad. he's just too old. and even as liberal as he is, i don't think i could resolve his feelings of not being a good dad before he died. if i had a female SO that i was serious with, i would do it, but i'm married now, so that's not bloodly likely.

anywho. boiled in lead are playing tomorrow night at....i think the cedar center. i'm thinking about going.

I understand why you made the decision you made and so...there we are.

I know!!! I was going to take the boys but with the money stuff and the rent stuff...I can't afford it.

I'm broken hearted about it...cuz it's one of the only places I think that my boys could see them play.

But...*shrug*

So we'll figure something else out and hopefully next year, things will be better so we can go.

I hope that you do go, though! They are AWESOME in person!!! :)
