happy birthday [livejournal.com profile] xerotic!! wishing you many happy returns and no side effects!


nightmares last night. really complicated ones. ross isn't sleeping well either, but for him it is a bit more severe. i will be glad when this is over for him. as it is he has to work all weekend again if dusty comes down to help him.
i have a lot to get done today.

that is good advice. what manner of nightmares did you have? were there monsters? or were they more everyday sorts of scary?

both. Some were events that could possibly take place in my everyday life, others were just outlandish imaginational creations. I'm kinda sensitive to smells but i did find the lavender pillow spray at bath and body works helpful. Lavender is very calming and soothing in any form. If you don't want the spray, ivory makes a lavender soap, or maybe a lavender candle before bed.

Scent of bergamot sometimes helps me. Twinings does a tea called Lady Grey which is a variant on Earl Grey with cornflower (?) petals added. Tasty and relaxing.
