I'm sorry about your job, love. I have no doubt you'll find something better out there. Don't beat yourself up over indulging as a way to make oneself feel better--just remember that it IS an indulgence, not a regular practice.
thanks sweetie. whiskey and cider are more deadly every time for me than vodka and rum. it was time for me to move on anyway, but i really wanted it to be on my terms. it is kinda scary how many of us have been out of work in the last year or so....kinda makes me want to read that book about why 20 and 30 somethings aren't finding successful jobs the way our parents did....
